All these treatments are available to have at your workplace. Clients stay fully clothed for each treatment and can choose which one they would like on the day. A short consultation is given prior to a treatment to establish any issues that may affect the type of therapy given.
A consent signature is then required to accept the client is able to have the treatment.
At the end of the session the client is asked for written feed back which is then passed onto the employer.
Ideally a quiet room would be required to create a calm, relaxing atmosphere for which the clients can switch off for a short space of time. Relaxing music is played to add to the ambience.
In the case of a health event this would not be needed and multiple therapists can work together.
This is an ideal massage for your workplace or health event. Clients stay fully clothed relaxing in a comfortable purpose built chair to receive a deep back massage.
Targeting specific muscle groups with both traditional massage and acupressure produces very effective results in a short space of time. Tension and tightness are reduced in key areas of the body, leaving a sense of wellbeing and relaxation.
Each session can take 15 – 30 minutes, enabling up 24 people to be seen in one day.
The skull is covered by a thin layer of muscles that tighten when you are tense, resulting in headaches and a feeling of anxiety. Massage and acupressure to the scalp, face, neck and shoulders aid the release of the tension, promoting relaxation and a sense of well being.
Each session can take 15 – 30 minutes
These stretching techniques are commonly used in a clinical environment, alongside a sports or remedial massage, to optimise motor performance and rehabilitation. It is one of the most effective forms of flexibility training for increasing a range of motion. The techniques can be both passive (no associated muscular contraction) or active (voluntary muscular contraction)
I have adapted these techniques to use with clients in your work place, targeting the most common problematic muscle groups -namely upper back, shoulders, neck, arms and lower back. PNF is used to make quick gains in a range of motion and release tension in your muscles. It is one of the most effective stretches of all the stretching techniques.
The problematic muscles are stretched to their comfortable limit and then pushed a little further. You are asked to push against the resistance for 10 seconds and then relax. This process is then repeated a few times each side until there is extra movement.
This technique is an addition to a massage and at least 10 minutes needs to be added to the massage time.
Reiki is a non-invasive complementary therapy, said to use natural energy flow for health and well being. We are all made of energy, it is vital for all life. We need energy to breathe, to eat, to digest to move and so forth. We are like batteries and need a constant source to keep us going. Good health and vitality depend upon energy flowing freely throughout the body. Stress, tension and inner conflict can cause energy to become congested. This blocked energy may eventually manifest on a physical level such as headaches, digestive disorders, and mentally causing tiredness, stress and anxiety.
When your energy gets blocked and does not flow freely it can cause tiredness, anxiety, stress as well as aches and pains. Reiki works towards dissolving these blocks allowing the Life Force Energy to stimulate your body’s innate healing ability.
Clients stay fully clothed and sit in a comfortable chair and relax. I will lightly put my hands on your head, shoulders then arms and you may feel a warmth from my hands. This gives a sense of calm and a deep relaxation can occur. Restoring the balance and harmony on a physical and emotional level.
A quiet room is required and at least 20 minutes allowed for each treatment enabling up to 18 treatments a day.
